Egypt’s Two End Times Judgments

Question from Marek Jakubec or Slovakia, a fellow viewer and brother in Christ.
Hello Bill, this crossed my mind and I haven’t seen it anywhere explained. According to Ezekiel 29:13, GOD brings back Egyptians after 40-years of their land being desolate. It is a future event, right? How does this fit into the Post-Rapture / Pre-Tribulation time-gap that you write about in Apocalypse Road and the Next Prophecies book? Or, does it occur during the 7-year tribulation period?
Answer from Bill Salus
Mark, thank you for your question. I teach that Egypt has two end time judgments.
FIRST, in Isaiah 19:16-18 a Pre-tribulation war happens between Egypt and Israel, probably as part of Psalm 83. The Israeli Defense Forces prevail and win that war.
The events in Isaiah 19:1-15 happen rapidly and adversely affect Egypt. These events lead up to and happen during the conflict between Israel and Egypt in Isaiah 19:16-17. In the aftermath of the war, Israel annexes five cities in Egypt as per Isaiah 19:18. These cities speak the language of Canaan, which is Hebrew.
The quote below is from Bible Prophecy scholar Dr. Arnold Fruchtenbaum concerning the Egyptian fear of Israel in Isaiah 19:16-17.
SECOND, a Tribulation invasion by the Antichrist takes place in Daniel 11:41-45. The 40-years of desolation and dispersion that occurs in Ezekiel 29:8-13, result from what takes place in Daniel 11:41-45.
Egypt apparently becomes restored about 40-years into the Millennial Kingdom period and it becomes the lowliest nation on the earth during that period. Ezekiel 29:15. Zechariah 14:17-19 singles out the restored Egypt as an example for other nations to observe during the Millennium.
I explain all the above thoroughly in my book called, Psalm 83: The Missing Prophecy Revealed, How Israel Becomes the Next Mideast Superpower. The book is available on our Prophecy Depot website.
