Syria and Damascus in Bible Prophecy

In light of Israel’s recent attacks into Syria, many are surfing the Internet to learn more about the Bible prophecies concerning the destruction of Damascus. Damascus is the capital of Syria and the longest continuously inhabited city in recorded history. Isaiah 17, Jeremiah 49 and elsewhere predict that not only Damascus, but many cities in Syria will undergo severe desolation.
